SEO Plugins & Addons: Do They Work?

So there are many SEO plugins and addons for forum software that you can use to "Help & Aid SEO" However do you think that they actually help? What experience do you have of them and did they work? Would you recommend any?

On my websites that I run, No addons or plugins other then what the IPS has built in that's tags and meta tags that helps search engine to pick up and read. We tend to have another software just for doing that.

Dealing with SEO is time, takes hours and weeks even years of on going job and after an year at it!! should see some improvements

I think most of the time you don't need them. They tend to highlight trivial things anyway. As long as you have the right HTML markup you're pretty much safe I think.

They can be useful. Several WordPress addons allow you to set keywords and descriptions per post, as well as opengraph properties. Very useful.
