Okay, So I need a list of all search engines that I can submit sites too. I also need a list of sites that will help with SEO.

I'll give out some FP to the people that give me the best sites.

A lot of SEO tips can be found here on this site. Search engines will find your sites best though linking with other sites. Putting your link in your signature will be a good start.

Just check the promotions guide subforum in this section.

There really is nothing better than Google's Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide.

As for Search Engines, you don't really "need" to submit. Googlebot (for Google) will find you if active sites link to you. In today's market, around 71% of the market share of searches is in Google, so you only really need Google.

Although everyone is correct in saying that Google will find your site, if your site is new you can speed up the process by submitting it to Google here.

It's also worth submitting your site to Dmoz.

If you want to get some more advanced SEO help you should try SEOmoz. I'll also recommend my site. Take a look at the SEO section of the forum where we discuss everything. I'm a total SEO nerd so I can help you with anything SEO related, even Glasgow weight.

If you want something a bit more simple or something like a tutorial I'll recommend my SEO guide. I tried to put all the basic facts in it.
