Seriously Calm Down!

Over the past 2 weeks roughly, I've noticed people are really getting frustrated and for lack of a better word, 'bitchy' as well. Some users will post something and another will snap at them and it's not needed. There will always be fights on the internet and in the real world but people on FP really need to calm it down a bit. The topic may be useless in preventing such childish fights but some people need to get a grip and shut up for once.

This is aimed at no one in particular, the whole community needs to just take a break for a little bit and calm down. FP is a great community and fights is not what it needs.

Not really, people can get on well with one another, the proof is the communities branching off FP (those advertised here), but it takes one thing said by one person, then another takes it out of context and then arguments break out.

I honestly think something like that because we had for a few nights a bunch of people with accounts like "white_nationalist" registering and saying terrible terrible things.

lol I swear to god all that crap with the extremely racist people started as soon as my site became like 2nd or 3rd (debatepolitics.com was always first) in the google search for "debate forum"

The paranoid people weren't really that much of a problem a lot of them were obviously jokes but all that racist people that kept coming and the anti gay idiots pissed a lot of my normal members off and it just became a pain in the ass to run

I agree. I have been on more dramatic forums than this. And in case you guys haven't noticed, the staff here are pretty good about breaking up an argument before it gets too out of hand.
