For some reason, I cannot access paypal.com, godaddy.com, Microsoft.com, etc. off of my cousins computer. At my house I can, but off his laptop I cannot. When I go on my PS3 I can visit all those sites, it's just off his computer I can't.

No, it just takes forever to load, and in the end I'll leave because it takes so long.

Well this is only forum tech support..

However the problems may be because of his internet connection, firewall etc. it could be anything, it's hard to say with such vague information.

They are SSL-protected pages? Maybe that's why they load so long...

I'm not sure about Paypal, but both Godaddy.com and Microsoft.com leads to a path of default.aspx when I type in their domain.

Sounds like an ISP error. The only thing you can do is ring his ISP and see if they can sort it. Maybe it doesnt support .aspx because thats what all there pages are formatted to.

default.aspx is their homepage, the .aspx extension is just a file type. Have you tried shutting down and trying again?

Maybe it's a virus? But i haven't heard of virus's blocking godaddy, just google and microsoft.

Edit: Oh, are you using IE? or have a firewall blocking types of files?

I think it's the virtual machine, try downloading and re-installing. I am not sure if Microsoft still offer it for download though.

I have had this issue before, however it would not load what so ever. I was told that it could be a ISP issue, and that their cache of the sites has not been updated. I won't go into it as much as this may have no been the issue to begin with.

Anyways, it almost sounds like what I had, but wouldn't know without further examination of some sort. Maybe google the problem, and I am sure something will pop up to help you.

Your best bet is to contact your ISP and they can advise you what to do next and who to contact if its not their problem (unlikely but may be router company you need to speak to).
