What would you recommend as good services for sending emails? I could send them directly from the origin server, but that might increase the chances of them being classified as spam.

I use to use Mandrill. However, MailChimp decided to make it a premium feature of their main services, so now it became insanely expensive to use.

Now I use Mailgun which isn't as "feature" rich, but still does the job 🙂 It's also free for those who send less than 10,000 emails a month.

Do you all feel the email that comes with hosting is as good as Mailgun etc? Anyway, I think the "come with hosting" email would be better than free stuff.

I don't think I'll be touching Mailgun.
Strange I don't have that:

It could have been as simple as the SSL expired briefly or an image loaded that wasn't loaded through SSL. Did you take a look at the SSL?

Either way, you can do your own research on them. They are a legitimate company.

If it's a shared hosting then no. Your host could limit you, or the IP could get damaged etc. Lots of reasons. Will explain more when I'm not at work xD
