Not a big fan of the HUGE banner, i would change it to something smaller.

Saying that, the colours are good, it seems quite modern which will help attract people, the layout is good.

I wouldn't personally join, mainly because of all of the info on the left hand side, i like my forums to be clean and simple, less is more in terms of how much you want to show. Either way i wish you good luck.
