No, this isn't in honor of Shark Week 😛 It's about plumbing!
Does anyone do their own plumbing?
I recently had a shut off valve in the master bathroom leak and we have CPVC piping so I was looking on how to repair it and decided I didn't want to go the route of primer and cement then waiting 6 hours to see if I had a leak. I discovered a push to connect shut off valve made by SharkBite. It's super simple! You cut your pipe so it's smooth and push on the fitting. And you're done. That's it.
I'm still waiting for leaks and will keep checking on it this week but so far so good and it was really fast. Has anyone else used SharkBite valves and if so did they last?
