I don't mind shoe shopping, but I only go shoe shopping if I have to.
I last bought shoes in October as I needed a pair of boots for the winter. Other than that, I probably won't go shoe shopping again until the summer as I have shoes for winter and spring.
Not really a huge fan of shoe shopping because I have to try them on to make sure they fit properly, so I usually try to get shoes that last a while when I do go shoe shopping. I definitely prefer in store shopping because I can try them on, but once I know the size, I'm not against buying online. I usually shop at Rack Room Shoes or Journeys, depending on what I'm getting, but I've bought a fair few decent pairs at Target and Walmart before.
1) Hiking shoes (that's number one for me since I hike a lot and put a lot of miles on a shoe)
2) every day shoes and I have slip ons from Walmart that I buy yearly
3) dressy shoes to wear to special occasions
4) fancier dressy shoes like a pump or heel
5) a boot of some kind
I hate doing shopping and shoe buying is worse because they rarely have what I want in stock and none of the sizes are consistent. Am I an 8? 8.5? Or do I go up to a 9 and wonder why my foot is so big, or is it just that shoe style?
