Okay, I am currently using PHPBB for Chatting Time, but my fomer co-administrator has resigned on me, so I want a software that is easier to work with. I want something like a plugin system like MyBB has. From what I'm lead to understand, the rep mod is automatically enabled, as is the quick reply, so those two mods would already be done. So do you think we should go MyBB, or switch to SMF or stay here? Whatever the most popular answer is, that's what we'll do.

Why did your other administrator resign? Are you sure it's because it was he/she didn't like phpBB?

If you want to switch to MyBB or SMF, don't ask us (unless you want help for conversion). Instead, just install MyBB, play around with it (install 1-2 mods), find a good theme on each, then decide from there.

If you want something that's easy to use, I'd go with SMF. Just my opinion.

If you feel more comfortable with MyBB, then I say go for it. 😉

Do yourself a favor and stick with phpBB. Conversion is probably more trouble than it's worth.

This is pretty much exactly what I was going to say.

Actually, I agree with you. We have discussed this and we will be sticking to PHPBB. I'm going to look up a few new themes to put on there, as that was a highly demandable one.

He simply resigned for personal reasons, which I will not post here, nor will I respnd to PMs about it. In fact, he still actually has control over the Cpanel (which is fine by me) and we are getting on quite well in spite of every thing.
