yet prisons are full and no more spaces left = What shell we do?

I think inmates should have the right to know when and what time they'll be executed. I don't see the point in keeping them in the dark over it.

I believe they should have the right to know when their last day on earth.

In the US at least, inmates are told the execution date and the time, unless the governor grants them clemency.

Just an abstract thought but would you as a law abiding citizen want to know the date and time of your last day on earth?

The real question should be would the inmates want to know what day and time they will die?
I guess not.

That's a good question. I don't think they would want to know. Doing a countdown to one's death can be a scary thing.

Most people don't know when they croak, other than death row people, so who is getting the cruel treatment?

It's a way of punishing criminal for what he has done. To live in a constant fear of "What if I woke up today and they say I am going to be executed on Sunday". That mental torture is what you get for probably killing others. That's a soft punishment for me. 😀

Some might not want to know when they die. It's also mental torture to know the day and time. Which is worse you all think?
