Well I noticed smf has been getting more popular. I don't know exactly if I should or not so I want the views of everyone else if I should convert my mybb forum (runelight) into smf. I already converted it and uploading it to my site runelight.com/smf just for a preview... I just don't know if I should really do this.. What does everyone else think? 😕

SMF is overrated. 😛 It is less user and admin friendly than MyBB, that simple.

It seems like you're doing fine on MyBB. Perhaps if you really wanted to convert to SMF, just make a test forum, install ten mods and two themes, and see if you like it.

But where? If you mean FP then you are looking a a very, very small percentage of all forum owners, maybe 0.00001%.

Isn't the general mood with SMF "run for the hills"? I hear they are having some dev team troubles. As I don't bother with SMF that much, I don't know that much about it.

Hey man i understand what you're saying. But i dont got time to keep track of this thread. Everyone has thier own opinion on which is better, i like smf better. I gots to advertise the anime forum now.
