Should the US invade North Korea?

When you say we don't need to invade to help, that's a load of crap. All we're doing now is pissing North Korea off with our "previously planned" drills and reinforcements.

We don't. We just need to help ROK defend the border. Crossing the border into DPRK is very risky, and unless with a great force, the military personnel might not come back. Even with a great force, there still may be a chance.

As soon as we move some of our troops to the border, NK will take that as a declaration of war.

The US needs to pressure China into taking a stand on this. If they want to continue to sell us cheap imported goods they need to lean on North Korea. Where do you think they got the nuclear technology and weaponry?

If the USA get involved, they can only lose. They gain nothing by winning the war and lose a lot of dignity, support, lives and money by losing. Unless North Korea pose a real threat to America, there's no reason for them to intervene.

Actually, war is still declared. The two countries are still technically at war. That's the reason for the DMZ.

Regardless though, we still do send them supplies, as someone said we should do, we already do train them, and as kirisute said, we have close to 30k troops stationed there already. But there's no reason for us to waste American lives in a conflict not even related to us by acting as the belligerent and attacking north korea. That's South Korea's job, not ours.

We already have a large number of troops at the border (JSA). And as Irviding said, the two countries are still technically at war.
