The Marine Corps distanced itself Thursday from a video purporting to show members of one of its sniper teams urinating on dead bodies in Afghanistan, even as military officials said they could not immediately verify its origin or authenticity.

Should the marines be demoted and kicked out of the marines for doing such an act?

Well it depends on who the bodies belong to. If it were bodies of dead terrorists, people who tried to hurt America or anyone else in anyway then let them pee away, but if it's innocent civilians of Afghanistan then they should be thrown out of the marines and put in jail.

It doesn't matter who they are, why should they be disgraced by someone peeing on them, it is so disrespectful to piss on a dead body, they have just been killed and you want to humiliate them even more, that is just sick.

Well you have to realize that this is a war. These marines see bloodshed everyday of their life and they go mad. It's a surprise that something like this didn't happen sooner. I will retract my statement on what I said before, but the Marines should seek clinical help.
