Should we add paid ads?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I feel this is the only place for it.

my forum (TheRist, link in the sig) Do you think its time to add some paid ad spots in the sidebar?
if you think i should then please say how much i should charge. If not tell me when i should add them

Thats up to you. Is the money for personal gain or to help the forum and if its to help the forum you should let your members know before. Talk to them about it and see how the members feel. If the adds can bring it some money to help the forum grow, as long as there not super annoying I'm sure the members would not mind.

ooooh I don't. I just set up a donation system through paypal so members can donate if they want to. To help pay for new forum features. Such as a domain name etc. I don't like advertisements too much. I would rather stay away from them.

I use google adsense and make only about $3 a month but I say use it.

Yeh Id say go for it if it will bring in money why not? I am thinking of doing the same soon.
