My friend was saying that wasn't real love, but I'm not so naive to think love is that simple. In fact, I wouldn't blame an otherwise good woman in dumping some guy that can't provide even a rented or paid for home.
Should women love men even knowing they can't provide nothing for them?

wellllllllllllllllllllll......... Love isn’t really about what someone can provide materially. In healthy relationships, it’s more about respect, trust, and emotional support going both ways. If there’s no effort or contribution at all, though it’s fair to question whether the relationship is balanced or worth continuing.
There isn't a simple answer to that type of question. While men have traditionally provided for their families financially, you see more and more women joining the workforce and providing for their families financially as well. It's really difficult to take care of children and all that on one person's income these days. Still, sometimes the mom works and the dad is is the one staying at home taking care of the kids. Or sometimes the man has a disability that prevents him from working. Should that disability make a woman love him any less? That wouldn't be right.
This right here! If you don't get or give respect, trust and emotional support in a relationship it's not worth it. It's not based around what the person can provide it should be based about how you feel about your partner and how they treat you.
Exactly. Respect, trust, and support are the foundation of any healthy relationship. Without those, it becomes difficult to build something meaningful and lasting.

It depends on the circumstances. I do no think any woman would want to have anything to do with a man who has nothing to offer right at the start of their relationship. However, if the man falls ill and reaches that state surely no woman would abandon him.
