Should you skip breakfast?

I've grown up being told it's the most important meal of the day, but is it really? Can't I just eat an early lunch instead?

I skip it anyways as a way to help regulate my weight. If I eat 3 meals a day or more, I'm going to gain weight.

I barely ever eat breakfast, normally just lunch or dinner.

You don’t have to skip breakfast, but you don’t have to force yourself to eat it either. It really depends on how your body feels and what works for you. If you wake up hungry, feel weak without food, or end up overeating later in the day, then having breakfast is probably a good idea. But if you’re not hungry in the morning and feel fine waiting until later to eat, there’s nothing wrong with skipping it.

What matters most isn’t the time you eat, it’s what you eat across the whole day. As long as you’re getting the right nutrients and enough protein, and you feel good and have steady energy, you’re doing it right. It’s about listening to your body rather than following a rule that says you must or must not eat breakfast.

I barely eat breakfast. Sometimes I will grab something in the morning, but very rare.

I have half a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and a coffee (no milk or sugar) which keeps me going until midday.
