You should proberly make the text bigger and the background image does not suit a gfx site. It looks more vintage porn to me and it looks stretched.

I as well thought of a sexual/porn site. Seems that the picture was just copied, pasted on and then some text added. Try making the text bigger to stand out instead of the image.

^ Agreed. It looks like you are making an old Sexual site.

Hah, text isn't supposed to stand out. It's supposed to be small so that the eyes of the viewer looks around the sig to find the text.

Anyways, I'm changing it. I'll make the text a bit bigger.

And if it's for a graphics site it doesn't matter what the image is, for example I didn't think of porn when I saw it, people will often use exotic images because generally they are good quality images. But if you are going to use it to advertise your site a bit then you should make the text more noticeable or just don't have any.

The render isn't poorly resized, and the smoke effect is so lazily placed. You can see it going straight through the leg.
You also need to work on depth, to me it looks like 3 layers, background, render and smoke effect.
Try working with C4D's, fractals, pen tool and lighting effects to enhance depth, focal and vibrancy.
