Lol no, It just means the multiple backlinks do not carry as much weight. They still are seperate links and would count as multiple.

All of the back links that come from forums do not help you much at all. The site that they come from might be PR 4, but the pages have little to no page rank. Therefore, Google does not really consider them relevant back links. You can have as many PR 0 back links as you want, but at the end of the day, one PR 4-5 link would be much more worth it.

Well said. Most website's pages don't have any pagerank therefore being worthless. It is more worthy to have it on the actual link that is PR4 or whatever it is.

I think when you get lots of backlinks from the same website, it still helps more than having just one from the website to yours. Although i think the value of each link is less.
