Site card

Well I've bin thinking how I can get the site active and I come up with a way to make a site card and then give them out to random people in town.

It's going to say something like:

Going to say something like

"Your Help In Life"

"when life gets you down and no one is around come see us at your help in lfie"

"www.yourhelpinlife.com"

Just tried to price it up and it's going to come to about £100 to get all this sorted.
But any way a soon it's all sorted I'll take a picture of the card and post it on here.

Here is what I may be using.


It wont be that big when I print it of it should be a size of a bank card.

I honestly don't think it will give you many more views.

I suggest posting ads on other sites, because if they are already on the internet, they most be somewhat techy.

I don't agree with that.
If you think about it they must be so many people in town who want help with something and ok might only get about 20 or something but it's better than nothing at all.

I think it will with something like this forum. For Forum Promotion it wouldnt work as many people wouldn't need it, only the internet lot.

But something of this genre means you can have that freedom of handing out cards to people about this sort of forum.

They is not many help forums out there at all, and tbh I've not seen any help forums other than mine and a other one.

Unfortunately, I completely disagree.

Firstly, if you place an advert on the internet anyone is going to visit it. I can see this kind of card in Doctor Surgeys, Teenage "Info Shops", Colleges, Universities, you name it. This will bring targeted hits, from people who want to read other people's experiences, get support, or even just want a friend to talk to.

Doesn't matter if they're techy at all. If it was a computer support forum then so be it, but it's a forum for personal help. Whoever visits from one of these cards wont care about the forum post count or how many active members are there...chances are if they pick up the card and take the time to visit the site they're legitimately interested, or looking for some kind of personal help.

I think it's a great idea. Even if it doesn't bring you a thriving community, you're still letting real people, with real problems know that you're there. :great:

They is not one bit of me that think it will bring lot of members in a way I am just doing this just so people always know about this site if they want any help.

I am only going to print of about 500 cards the 1st time and see how that go and if it work well then will do more 🙂

But seriously, i doubt you will get much traffic from that.

I think a lot of people would be insulted getting that through their door, but it could get you 1 or 2 members.

How about if when I get some made I ask some shops etc if they can keep them there so people can just take one if they want 1
