Does google look at loading times when determining rankings? I read before that they did but i never noticed anything when my site loads slow. Anyways you can improve site speed by optimising the code your site ie. php, ajax etc.

I've read a couple of articles that say they do and I suppose it makes sense... they want the sites that load the quickest up top for people to visit. It's a lot easier to find information on a fast page than a slow page. That doesn't mean the content is necessarily better though. 😛

Google looks at the loading time of a website to rank in search engines. The more the banner and images and flash video you have on your homepage, it makes the website load slow. This is quiet effective in SEO, as search engines consider website loading time as a part of good SEO.

site loading is another factor of SEO and if your site have less loading please take care about that for the best SEO

The speed of loading of your website affects Google ranking.

Moreover, the slower the loading of your website is, the more likely that people will simply leave before they visit your website, as no one likes to wait nowdays for a website to load.

So striking a balance with placing high volume banners on the website, and speed of loading, is of paramount importance.

it does help for little known websites, top guys have enough ressources to stay on top (moneywise a site can be slow and still remain on top if SEO is made daily by a bunch of experts

Keep in mind that a slow site will also discourage users from sticking around. It's a very good investment to pay for a CDN, they're not that expensive for small sites.

Site loading time is another thing. It is not related with site traffic rank and PR. It have no connection with traffic and PR.
