They are the most nicest helpful hosting provider I have ever been with. I have a bit of payment issues this month due to moving and I explained this to them and they offered to expand my hosting bill by another 14 days.

Their support team is the best too.

I used their migration service and have to say I am very happy with it.

First time I heard of a host that requires you to scan the front and back covers of your ID and/or passport. That's pushing it for me.

Where does it say that?

They told me this via a ticket. I was never made aware of this before registration. I had to get my refund.

Really? well I'm not interested with them then

After spending months with them they decided to change owners and now have the shittiest reply time (Used to be almost instantly after creating an email; now I wait hours) they tell me that they need more proof of who I am in order to complete my cancellation request despite using the correct method. I'm just bloody sick of their games. Stay far far far away from these idiots.

This is well known - Site5 was bought by Endurance International Group (EIG), and it's pretty much this with EIG-owned hosts: they buy them and it turns to crap. HostGator was a victim of this - I remember when HG was independent and was actually DECENT, then EIG bought them and decided to move HG's servers from Houston, all the way to frickin' Utah, which is not a quick migration. Plus HG has had a ton of downtime ever since EIG bought them - it's happened to other hosts too, so I'd stay away from any EIG-owned hosts.

If you want a list of some EIG owned hosts, look here so you know what to avoid:

Don't god damn tell me about EIG, I hate them and try to say away from using there system.

I'm definitely using HostGater unfortunately but being said they have improved over the last year with their server and uptimes plus going up on the top five list. Regarding support it's slow and you still have to wait for some time to get though. And also depends on the person you get, I had good professional person other time it's a opposite to getting nowhere. I'm been willing to change over for about a year but it's the budget is holding me

Definitely. My project requires a bit more resources than shared hosting can provide, but I'm on a budget too - which is why I pay $15/mo for a small quad-core server with 100mbps unlimited bandwidth in Kansas City, it's a good deal and fits my budget.

If you need, I'd reccomend StableHost if you want decently priced non-EIG hosting - it's around $4.95/mo for their main plan:
