- This is like THE site to learn about the basics of promotion and webmastering. It has newsletter archives with some amazing and invaluble information that I think you should check out. True a lot of it is from like 1997-98 but Webmastering hasn't changed. Getting visitors to stay on a site hasn't changed... so I suggest you look at it.

- Free banner exchanging community. You can exchange banners with other webmasters to build back links and traffic to your site. A very very very very VERY VERY helpful tool for new sites with good content. You don't need X amount of new visitors on your site to use it either!
