Sites with virus

I have a colleague whose home computer was attacked by a virus. He admitted that he visited a porn site and after an hour, there was that attack. Another colleague confirmed that some porn sites have a virus inside. They cannot explain why those site are contaminated, is that deliberate? Most are malwares that don't erase the files but just irritate the user. The advice is to avoid going to sites that you don't know and you figure in that accident when you are doing a search. So be careful when searching for a site.

If it's plastered with ads and all that crap, then it's certainly possible. Those sites are notorious for that.

Agreed, cause people know they get visited more, so those sites are a haven for viruses

First make sure you have ublock origin installed to kill off the majority of adverts and blocks common malware hosts, have a good AV installed, and don't visit sketchy sites. Problem solved

if you stopped using AVG free and actually use something good you wont have that problem

I have an software that stops be going into websites that are affected and I always keep my own site free of silly virus 😛

Not only porn sites, but also some shortened link advertising sites, I also often encounter some viruses, or malicious code from it. You should pay attention to the shortened link😀😎😱
