This is certainly a niche film, not appealing to most people. However, it's one of the best, heavily satirizing the upper-class (and lower-class) artsy scene in NYC. Also, it's one of Will Smith's first big movie performances, in fact, maybe it was the first one. Anyway, one thing I got out of the movie was sort of envy. I mean, I really liked the way the art dealers in the movie lived, the fine apartment, cultured friends. It's certainly an alien world.
