Okay guys, I need some help. I am wondering if anyone knows where you can request free skins for you forums?? I am talking about invisionfree/zetaboard/forumer/ipb1.3 skin requests. Please share all of the sites you know 🙂. Or, if you know anyone that would be willing to help me out.

You know, I'm wondering this also. The ZBTZ, InkDrop Styles and Outline offer skin requests but they're not free as you need to have 50 posts to request one... I hope someone does provide with an answer to this question 🙂
You don't get your PM permissions taken away if you just ask.
Anyway, there are places out there that do free skins for the forum softwares you are looking for but I don't have any of the links, sorry. As far as I know MhW does not style for them softwares either.

But in response the topic, to ask for a custom skin for free is very unrealistic wherever you ask. Nothing comes for free these days, you have to offer something in return. Personally, I don't do free skins for people...only do them for Cash and I've never had a complaint about a premium skin I've made. Others might do it for a few posts on their forum, or a permanent link back / affiliate.
At the end of the day you get what you pay for. That applies for everything in life. 😉
oh by the way, yeah I only do phpBB3 styles. Maybe free MyBB skins in the future.
As Efc and Murder said, it's very rare to find someone who will make you a custom style for free, with no linkbacks or anything. Your best bet would be someone looking to fill up a design portfolio, but that's a stretch in itself.
My suggestion is to either dish out the money, or Google around for style communities that release free ones with linkbacks. It's your best bet 🙂
