Hey i was thinking of making use of my old message board which used to be a general discussion board. I was thinking about remaking it into a advertising forum.

Three questions

Do you like the skin?
How easy is it to run an advertising forum? Easier than other types?
What should i name it if i do?

I actually really like that skin you have there!

As for how hard it is to run an advertising forum, I honestly don't know.

Hopefully not too hard though! 😉

That skin is really good. As for being difficult, not really. Most of the difference is a lot of other ad forums require more posts before advertising a resource forum.
Perhaps On Site Ads would be a good idea for the name? And, wow, that board is old!
If you do use it, split the old posts into a general discussion forum, so that you'll have posts right-off-the-bat. ~wink~

In terms of how easy it is to run one is is very hard especially when it is active as you have all the services to sort out (signature ads, banners, portal links) aswell as promotion, keeping the forum active, changing the forum to improve it (if you host it yourself it is alot harder and takes way more time) and making sure the staff are doing their jobs well.

It is harder then other types as with a general chat you don't have all these services so you don't have to do all them which do surprisingly take up alot of time.
