Your Forum Review

First Impressions & Appearance - (Out of 20)
I'd just like you to know in advance that this is just a review of your forum, and so little to none of the complaints I mention have to do with the rest of your site, for the record, the rest of your site looks awesome. Well, to me, your forum's appearance is well, generic. It looks like a tiny part of the site that was just thrown in. I will give you this though, it does match the game theme nicely and does integrate well. On thread view, everything is way too gray, I liked the blue of the other part of the forum. It's also boxy on thread view and none of the colors are very good to look at. May I add that having, "Please register or sign in to reply to this thread." at the bottom of every post is annoying and a waste of space. It's a shame your forum doesn't match the look and style of the other parts of your site, because the rest of your site looks amazing. One final complaint, the Index,Topic View, Users, User List and Search buttons are like really hard to read. It would look better in a white color.

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
This area is where your forum redeems itself. Your forum's layout integrates very nicely with your site. All the navbars and such are there and it gives your forum a more connected feel. It seems like just another part of your site, which I guess can be a good and bad thing, because while you want an integrated feel, a forum is a very important part of a site and should stand out. As far as how your forum is physically layed out, it's a bit confusing. Your categories lack names. "Slick Chat" seems out of place. Shouldn't in be in the third category with all the other off-topic forums? Your first forum appears to be for site related stuff.

Statistics and Activity - (Out of 20)
For a forum open for 2 months, your statistics are just sort of not impressive. 600 posts is not really good at all and 62 members is good, but actual content is more important than post count. I'm glad you're choosing to advertise on places like Forum Promotion, that should help. Hopefully as time goes on more people will choose to post.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
Not really much to say here, from what I see you're the only admin and so that's fine. You seem to make sure good content is posted and nothing rule breaking is. So therefore you're doing fine in the staff moderation department.

Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism - (Out of 20)
Let's start out with Spelling/Grammar. "You can submit your Halo 3 Fileshare so we can capture for free" needs a period and should be, "You can submit your Halo 3 Fileshare so we can capture for free." Next, "Any non-Gaming discussions are placed here." has no reason for gaming to be capitalized, so should be, "Any non-gaming discussions are placed here." "Talk about Ninitendo's wii, Gamecube, DS, etc., and Nintendo games." should be, "Talk about Ninitendo's Wii, Gamecube, DS, etc., and Nintendo games." Next, "Chat about the Playstation consoles, handhelds and games." should be, "Chat about the Playstation consoles, handhelds, and games." Finally, "Seen any movies lately? post your review here!" should be, "Seen any movies lately? Post your review here!"

For professionalism, I'm not quite sure that saying, "New to the site and haven't said 'Hi'? Introduce yourself you noob!" is quite appropriate. Calling me a noob is certainly not something that's going to encourage me to join a site. Also, I would put some more work into your forum, as I said, it looks like the weakest part of your site.

Total Score - 45 (Out of 100)

Final Remarks: Your site is great, but your forum seems like the weakest link./

What was most liked about the website/forums: Well, I loved the website, and if it was a review about the website instead of the forum you would have scored tons better.

What was disliked most about the website/forums: Nearly everything was disliked about the forum.

How could I get you (The Reviewer) to join my website? I don't really have time to join sites, sorry.

Ouch, that one went right to the heart. Well, thanks for being honest. It will really help improve my forum, thanks again.

It's also boxy on thread view and none of the colors are very good to look at.
What do mean by boxy? And what colors do you suggest i should use? Also for the intro section, what description would you change it to?

Thanks
