Ol'Mom, a fat old woman wearing a yellow dress, is very sad. Her husband Greg just died. She remembers the good times she had with him, but now she has nothing left of him.
Correction. She has his son in the hospital.
She decides to call her son Coolasfire, after all, what's cooler?
But when Coolasfire is grown, he hates his name. It's just so showoffy. And that's not all he hates. Ol'Mom and him don't get along at all. Ol'Mom tries to talk to him, but all he hears is that she thinks he's a disappointment.
Finally Coolasfire runs away from home. Ol'Mom doesn't take it serious at first; he'll probably come back when he gets hungry.
But he doesn't. So now Ol'Mom's son and husband are both gone. Now there's nobody who loves her!
Just then, the doorbell rings. There's an abandoned puppy on her doorstep. Shall she take it in then?
Yes, she'll take it in. She'll call it Slobbies. And, this is going to be her son from now on! She'll raise Slobbies as a son and this time, she won't fail as a parent.
Slobbies grows up and now he has to be taught responsibilities. He has to learn where money comes from, and what his duties are around the house, and he makes a lot of new friends.
Some of his friends include Guinea-fowl the guinea-fowl, Goldwyn Fishee the talking fish with a slippery tongue, Clucky the blue chicken, Snake the snake (although he's not really friends with Snake), and Hans Wors, a very eccentric guy.
And let's not forget about Slobbies' education - he even has to enroll in school. This takes a few battles, because among the human children, Slobbies is specie-ally challenged. He has to fight for his place in society. But, he'll get his education like everybody else; he's no different! (Just special.)
Come join Slobbies on his adventures as he lives life with Ol'Mom, his human mother. There'll never be a dull moment. In fact, it's Wrooflicious!
