Small Forum Review
First Impressions
My first impression was … Ugggghhhhh what a ghastly combination of colours, and not at all city related to me, dull greens and browns are more akin to a gardening forum, than a city forum. Completely the wrong theme for the genre.
Appearance
My first suspicions are confirmed, the forum Icons are plants, pointing even further to a gardening type forum, and not all related to the genre. The colour scheme is totally wrong. The whole theme is totally wrong.
Ratios and Statistics
Your memberlist confirms my suspicions that the majority of members are spam bots, the majority of members have not posted, those that have are in the region of ten posts, 75 threads and 172 posts is fairly poor, especially for a newly launched forum, most Admins wouldn’t launch with so few posts and threads.
Content
The amount of actual content on the forum is very thin on the ground, of the 40 odd forums you have up there are only 75 threads, not even two per forum. It become worse because each forum has a plethora of sub forums, ranging from news to sport, so the content is even more thinly spread.
I can’t really add any more because there is so little to review.
Final Remarks
In my opinion the forum need a complete re-think, from theme and colour scheme to the categories, what you basically have is a list of all the States (which contradicts the forum title) with a few other categories which look like after thoughts or grasping at straws to widen your audience.
Personally I would disable the forum, work on the theme and graphics, add more posts, inviting the members you have to contribute.
What you have chosen is quite a wide genre, it may even be easier to reduce it to two or three states, that you yourself know a lot about, or are familiar with.
Either way I have a feeling in it’s present form that this forum will never be as popular as you hope it will be.
