Soo I had a but of time and wrote a small story. YES I KNOW my grammar suck! Hopefully someone enjoys it. 😛

(I'm no good at titles)
Today was his first day of school. John, a 16 year old boy, was home-schooled up until now. His mother had just died and he was left to his uncle. His uncle was fairly rich and wanted John to get a good education and maybe become a doctor or something. Since he was home-schooled up until now he didn't know what to expect at school. He got to his class and it was fairly big. There was only one seat left in the back. After being introduced to the class he sat down in his seat and sat there quietly thought the lesson. The teacher had to leave to grab something. There was a girl in the next seat. "Hey" she said right as the teacher left "Hello there" he said in a nervous voice. You see John didn't really like girls, but there was something about her that he couldn't explain. She had long brown hair, blue eyes that were as beautiful as the stars at night, and she wore a long blue dress. He would glance over at her she would be smiling and he thought it was the most beautiful smile in the world. "My names Susan." she replied to him, "Nice to meet you." He replied trying not to stumble over his words. They continued to chat until the teacher came back. He would continue to glance over every once and while.

It was just after school and John was packing up his stuff. Susan came running down the hall to talk to him. They talked while walking down the hall. "Susan would you like to ge some ice cream in the park with me?" He had asked her. She didn't know what to say. She knew her parents would be mad if she didn't ask and before they met him, but she also wanted to go with him. "I'm sorry I have a lot to do at home."She replied trying not to act nervous. With a sad face he said goodbye and started to walk home. "Wait John! You could still walk me home. If you would like", hearing this his face had the biggest smile and started to walk her home. They talked all the way to her house. Her dad had taken the day off to work on things around the house. He was out in the front yard mowing the lawn when they came up to her house. John walked her to the door and said goodbye. He walked away and her dad walked up to her. "Who was that?" He asked her, "Just a new guy at the school." she replied and ran straight to her room.
It's been 4 years since John and Susan met. The year is 1943 and He was ready to propose marriage to her. He had it all planned and it was perfect. He knew when, where, and how he was going to do it. He was just about to head out with her when the mail came. He quickly sifted through it and was about to leave when something caught his eye. It was a letter from the U.S. Military. He quickly opened it and right as he did he fell back onto his seat. The letter told him he was about to be drafted into the military for 2 years of service. He couldn't believe and on today of all days. He didn't know what he was going to do or how he was going to tell her. He decided not to go out, but just tell her at her home. He walked up to her house and he couldn't help, but cry when she saw her face. He knew that as soon as he left he may never see it again. He told her the news and she didn't know what to do. For several hours they just sat on the couch and talked. Later that night she went to bed, but couldn't get to sleep. She couldn't stop crying and in the back of her mind she knew he was going to propose soon.
It is now June 5th, 1944. John had just received a letter from Susan. It had all the normal stuff about what was new, the latest news, and ect. He had written his reply and shoved it into his shirt pocket so he wouldn't forget it. He went to the briefing like everyone else and was told that at 6:30 AM tomorrow morning he would be going on mission. This wasn't going to be just any mission that was the mission he had trained for, for over a year. He knew he may not come back from this so he took out his letter and added to the end of it "I love you and always will no matter what happens." he stuffed it back in his shirt and forgot about it. It was now the day to ship out. He was of the airborne parachute divisions.
Everything appeared to be going to plan. Until the flak started and unfortunately the first one to explode was right in front of the cockpit and killed the pilot and co-pilot. They had to jump before they crashed. The plane was going down fast and every one scrambled to get out. Everyone except for the last guy made it. He was a private and Johns only friend in the military.  Everyone else landed safely, but John couldn't find his friend. He knew something bad happened. But there where other things to worry about. They had just landed next a bunker. They had to capture the bunker and try and use it has a base to figure out what was going on. It was a hard fight and the bunker was almost cleared. John stepped out onto the metal platform which stood about 10 feet from the ground. Below where barrels of gasoline. To the left were some stairs. John started to walk towards the stairs with 5 other people behind him. The room seemed clear from where he was. Germans seemed to pop up out of no where just the. He fell to the ground his head hitting on the metal. Seventeen 9x19mm Parabellum MP-40 rounds stuck in his left leg and chest. Fifteen of those rounds hit his left leg and tore it off. Blood was dripping through the metal as the blood poured out of his leg. The pain was to much for him to take. He was now drenched in his own blood.  Two of the bullets had hit his chest and he was coughing up blood. Slowly crawling through the dead body's, pools of blood, and organs that were seeping out their dead body's. He worked his way to the door where his Sergeant was hiding next to. He slowly lifted his bloody hands with a letter inside his palm. The Sergeant grabbed the letter stained with blood. He told the Sergeant to get out of the bunker with the rest of the squad. Slowly pulling out a grenade with the utmost pain anyone could feel. He pulled the pin and let go of the safety. He dropped the grenade down to the barrels of gasoline. With his last few breaths he yelled "Tell her..." and the grenade exploded killing everyone in the room and surrounding area. There was nothing left of the bunker. His commander had just gotten out before the whole thing went up in flames. He looked at the piece of paper given to him. There was blood covering most of it and the only thing he could read on it was "Susan, I love you."
The commander made it back to america. He was one of the few that survived D-Day. He looked up the address for Johns girl-friend. It took him over a year to find her. He was now at the drive way. He had promised himself that he would do this. He walked up to the door and knocked. It seemed like ages, but a young girl came up to the door. Her name was Susan. He gave her the note. A tear fell from her eyes and then another and another. The letter was covered in blood and she knew he wasn't alive. He told her how John had died and how he saved the life of his whole squad. She pretended to act like it was alright them, but she couldn't stop crying. He had left and she ran up to her bed room and just sat on her bed crying. She looked at the note over and over again. There was something attached to it that was barely notable. It was a ring. The ring that he was going to give to her to propose marriage. She then took out a box from under her bed. It had her diary in it. She opened to the first page which read, "Today I found the boy of my dreams, his name is John. Someday i'm going to marry him."
