I definitely prefer Android. The iOS interface has always grated on me, because it doesn't allow you to customize the positioning of app icons other than reordering them, add home screen widgets such as weather or search, and until somewhat recently, couldn't split-screen apps. I also largely prefer the default apps through Android, namely Google Maps, Chrome, and Gmail. To boot, iPhones have trash battery life. My Samsung S8 can last for three days with normal use.
iOS 7 introduced those pretty new app icons, and the overall appearance of the interface has improved. iPhones also generally have better cameras. But it's not enough for me to ever switch... I will occasionally use the iPhone 10 in our office to test code, and I'm reminded every time why I prefer Android.
