I just upgraded mine to 2.0 the other day whenit was released.

Love the new update and will be trying the newest release asap.

Yeah the new SMF is alot better than there old one but I hope there new development is faster

Great news,it took long enough lol. I will be upgrading for sure, and now I have a reason to finish my theme lol.

Edit: It seems they have changed their license to the BSD license :O. Huge news if you ask me. Now SMF is also open source aswell.

Drop menus make navigation easy 😛.

Im old fashioned. I like a tab at the top... You click the tab and taken to a screen with options.

Drop downs get annoying when there is several levels of dropdowns and you accidently move the mouse off of it and it disappears. 😛

I've never owned a forum running on SMF, however, I have to say the more forums I see running on it the more I like it. It looks very straight forward and user-friendly.

Can't wait to make the final upgrade. My forum is VERY customized, so I have to make intense preparations on layouts and very nit picky edits we've made throughout several files. It'll be worth it, but can't really begin until all our used MODs are updated, as well. I'm tired of emulating to older smf versions, and have them not install properly.

Just to point out, there is the option to make it appear in the classic layout, where all the menu tabs are labeled from top to bottom, with no hovering to do.
