SMF, Custom Mods & Themes

Hey guys i have a new SMF forum and i have installed a new theme and i no that some mods will not work with the custom themes and that i will have to do manual edits. I was just wondering if its the same edit i have to make for all the mods or should i ask the creator of the mod.

Your best bet would be to contact the author of both the Mod and the Theme.

Pretty much mods that will affect a skin/theme you will have to do manually. Just make sure to change the language to English and not English - utf8. If you don't you may not be able to use some of the mods.

Ok thanks guys i was reading about the language as well, then i read the forum were people were asking he said i would have to manually install the mod into the theme. When i get to it ill let you guys know how it went.
