SMF Help quick

I may not be understanding the actual question, but I thought the logs were stored on the admin panel somewhere.
If their in the ftp, I would only think they have a folder called logs, or something like that lol.
Maybe in the admin folder or something. Sorry I hadn't installed SMF in a long time, so off the top of my head I can't think of where they would be.
Hopefully someone can give ya an answer.
