For some weird reason, my SMF MODs won't do anything after I install them. Can someone help?

After installing a mod you have to enable them. Go to the mod section and click enable. Then it should have its own slot in the plugins config menu.

I do not have a smf board right now so I could be wrong in the names and such.

Okay I just installed a temp smf forum. Go to packages, installed packages, click on the one you want, then click enable and pick the options you want.

Also post with packages you are having trouble with, some packages like ultimate profile require some manual editing.

Edit: Wow now I remember I used smf in the first place,it is so freaking simple .

Is it 2.0? I'm using that.
Ahh you are using 2.0 . I am using 1.11.

I cannot quite remember where everything is in 2.0 .

You might wanna pm Kirisute Gomen he knows 2.0 .

I'm not as good as 2.0 as 1.1, but I'm starting to understand 2.0 better. Make sure you installed it on all themes, check the mod settings in the admin CP. Make sure it's comparable, etc.

Also which MOD is it?

Humm you think you can pm me a link to the forum. I am almost positive I know what the problem is.

Uhmm enable users to be able to choose skins. I think the problem is that you did not install the mod for your theme. Which is done by clicking the arrow and it will show the theme edits. You just check the boxes you want .

For example themex will have 2-7 small boxes. Check them all it will then install it on the theme.

If you have done this please enable users to choose their own skin. So I can check something else.

I clicked uninstall simpleportal and it says "Test Failed" on all of them...
Okay have you enabled users to choose which theme they want?

Please do so,this will allow me to use the default theme to see if the mods have worked on it. Which will confirm that you need to just do the tweaks for your theme,
