SMF Skin error

Um... I recently installed a smf board, but I'm having trouble using it.

Do I put the full URL in the box where it says "location", or do I put something like /Themes/skin/ ?

Or relative to the skins folder/directory.

What's the error you get when you try?

Nothing, it just doesn't show the new topic, or even post button.

If it doesnt show you the button, then try changing the permissions in the Admin panel, it might be that all groups are set to Cannot Post.. As default.

Thats not what he is saying,the section itself might be set to not allow anyone to post.

Generally when you first install a forum all the permissions are set to default meaning they copy from the first category and forum SMF installs when you install the board.

If that's the case then the permissions are wrong.
