SMF vs PHPBB?

Hi, I have been a long time SMF User, And I would like to know is it worth changing to PHPBB For my new Tech & Gaming forum, Or will PHPBB Work fine?

I didn't use SMF for a very long time like I did with phpBB so I would be rather biased maybe. phpBB has proven better for me compared to SMF with all its functions and most importantly layout. There is something about SMF which makes me feel uncomfortable. That is personal indeed, you should experience it first hand to be able to tell which one you prefer the most.

I definitely would prefer phpBB. SMF really sucks.

In my OWN opinion I prefer phpBB just because I don't have experience with SMF.

Easier Mod System and Theme System.

Tons of features

Tons of plugins for just about everything.

Better language support
