hey, im new to SMF and forums altogether, but i want an affifliate box on my forum. Does anyone know where i can get the code, and how i put it on my forum.

It's not that hard. There is a mod that you will need to get but I forget the name of it. It allows you to ad "ads" to the forum but it also accepts any html code.
I wish I could remember the name of the mods but it's for google adsense and other html code if that helps.

Theres an Ad Management mod that would be useful for you. If your not using the default theme it will require a few changes to make it work.
Tiny Portal is also handy to have because you can add various things to each block. 🙂
