I can add theme but then the home page doesnt work...and forums disappears...🙁

Are you using a portal? If so you need to install it on the default theme then change your theme to what you want.

If you want to support SMF, why not just join the official SMF community forums? Users help each other out there and you can promote your forum too. ^^
