A small few of you (mainly staff) may know that I'm a smoker. I'm 17, and have been smoking since I was 10.

I smoke around 20-30 cigarettes a day, then odd cigar and sheesha when my friends come round.
My parents accept and allow it. The majority of my income goes out on smoking so I'm nearly always broke. Except just now, I got $12 into my paypal through my Bux site whilst typing this.

Either way;

I'm interested to see how people feel about young smokers. Never really got round to asking anybody.

I'm ok with smokers if they don't get in my way, like there are some rude people who smoke and just make you cough.

I don't like when people smoke and drive, well I generally don't like people that do thing in their car while driving.

But yeah, I'm fine with smokers in general, however I do not.

I say live and let live... smoke all you want. If your parents choose to let you do it at a young age like that, whatever. As long as they and you are aware of the consequences of smoking and the cancer risks, go right ahead. Try to change to pot though if you can, a lot less harmful than smoking cigs 😛

I don't smoke and never will. I don't want to die at a young age. I just think that people don't like smoking and that it is just addicting.

Actually, I enjoy smoking.

One of the reasons why I refuse to quit. I like the taste and the social side of it.

Stress and my family life.

I live with 4 smokers, and I was going through an extremely rough time in regards to my parents.

I began stealing cigarettes from my parents at 10, then started earning money and funding it myself.

By the age of 13 I was smoking 20 a day as standard.

I do yes, but I enjoy it.

People will argue that it doesn't have any connectionwith cancer, but my fitness levels have dropped but I recognize and accept that.

Not really I'd be proud of. After a while, it'd be a waste of money, let alone for health reasons.

Consider an average Canadian smoker. Spends maybe $3000-$5000/year. If he/she quits, one could take a vacation at some whatever resort in some tropical place. Every year. Why smoke?

Then again, I shouldn't stop you. I have no rights to do so.

And people who argue that are idiots. Anyone who says smoking does not have a connection to cancer is an idiot. You are putting yourself at very high risk for cancer. All of the carcinogens in those cigarettes could cause a mutation within anti-oncogenes (even one small little mutation is all it takes) and then boom, there's cancer. Be sure that you are aware of the facts before you think something crazy like that. Like I said, if you want to smoke, go right ahead, just understand the risks.

Well, its your life and the only people who can have a say in that is your parents.

I don't mind those who smoke, and it doesn't affect friendship, but I encourage those people and others not to smoke. The constant coughing and smell are annoying though at times.

I have a friend like you, also started at age 10 etc, now he's 15. Guess he hasn't really felt all the effects yet, like obama suggested though it'd be smart to move to pot. Healthier and will probably help lower the hypertension you have or will create through smoking cigs, not to mention the cancer 😛.
