Smoking

My grandpa died of smoking. So far, he's the only one of my four grandparents who died. I would never smoke.

A.) Cigarette Tax is pretty heavy in Canada. It's at least $7-8 in Canada.
B.) It's bad for you in almost any way possible. An average smoker (3000 cigarettes/year) could take that cigarette money and spend it on a very nice vacation.

I've been smoking for 26 years, almost lost my husband at 37 to a double heart attack due to smoking, he's been packed in 7 years now, I AM going to quit, it is an addiction equal to cocaine or heroin or alcohol, it's not clever and I hate myself for doing it. :sad:

Aww, I wish you the best of luck in quitting. It's not easy. Both of my parents smoke, and they've tried to quit multiple times to no avail. Most of my adult family members smoke, actually. I'm going to be all alone someday!

Yes, I smoke. Only when Im bored or get stressed though. A Pack usually lasts me about 3-4 days and If I dont feel like buying a pack...I dont.

The addiction doesnt control me, I control the addiction 😛

Cigarettes are nasty. They do nothing for you and make you stink.
My mom used to smoke in the house my entire childhood. It was horrible.

Not really, those prices have changed a bit. Still really cheap, but not that cheap.

No seriously a pack of 20's costs 10 NOK which is about 1.8$

I have never smoked and don't have plans to start. I can't even begin to list the negative effects of smoking. It's a poor thing to add into your lifestyle.

Oh well thats a good explanation then, thought you were from the states where things are actually starting to get expensive for us with the exchange rate. I know people in Norway who make a few trips to Poland every year to buy their supplies, so much cheaper 😛.
