What is Snip.la
Snip.la is just a clean, easy to use, user friendly URL Shortener, compaired to other's we just care about shortening the link, non of the fancy stuff, just a short URL.

How does it work?
Easy! Simply paste a long URL into the first box then press 'Enter'. Wam! a new box appears with your shortened link! Simply click and the copy it! Now share it where ever you want!

Feel free to try!

Simple is great but there is such a thing as too simple. I think it'd be cool if you added a bit of design to the solid blue background. Merely preference though

Thank's for the feedback, I have gone over and added a header with a new logo and a little cheeky stat part which show's total shortened links.

Nice simple design.

I have a problem though, and I think it may just be me. When I click on the text area, and start typing, the text doesn't appear for me. It doesn't even look as if the text box is highlighted at all.

Regards.

Hmm, what browser are you currently using?

At the time of testing it, I was using the latest version of Firefox. It works fine in Google Chrome. If you want a screenshot so I can show you what the difference is, let me know.

Can you tell me what program you used to make the url shortening service!?

I custom coded Snip.la, using PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS & jQuery, it also uses Bootstrap.

I tested this and I had the same error in FireFox, but I came across a fix, please let me know if it now works for you. Thanks!
