What are your feelings towards snow?

I used to love snow! I used to love shoveling snow because it was a wonderful workout. Now that I'm going to be 60 this year, I'm not too fond of it anymore.

I miss it living in warm climates, but I'm also not that bothered about having to exist in a climate with it, so I can take it or leave it, lol. My joints probably love me not being around it at this point 😀

When I was a kid, I loved snow days. I loved the idea that you got to miss a day of school.

Now that I'm an adult, I have to weigh my options. Is it worth it trying to get to work and possibly wrecking my car? Can I afford to miss a day of work because the roads are bad?

I still love snow! I'll take a cold snowy day over a warm rainy day anytime! We got lots of snow here recently, I didn't make it into work on Saturday but I had time to cover it thankfully.

Honestly, I am over the snow. Sunday we got 18 inches, today was the first day we were allowed to get on the roads, and they're still really bad. Then we ended up with a Snow Squall Warning for about an hour, something I had never seen or heard of before. What it is, essentially, is a sudden onset of blizzard-like conditions that dumb a lot of heavy snow very quickly and cause white out conditions. During that hour of the warning, we got four squalls. It was actually really cool and strange to see.

I'm glad you're safe!! Yes, squalls are so scary and dangerous and we'd get them when I use to live in the Midwest and you kinda want to pull over to a parking lot to wait it out if possible.

Snow from your window or doorstep? How beautiful.

Snow from your car seat? This sucks.

Kind of a love/hate relationship tbh. Love to see it and how pretty it is, not a fan of going out in it because it's so cold. Also not a fan of the possibility of having to go to work in it, but I guess that's adulting for you.

We were supposed to get snow last weekend, but the forecast changed and we just ended up with maybe an inch that was washed away by the rain by the time I got up. This weekend, they're predicting 8-12" from coastal snow, and last I saw, it was a 60% chance of it happening. I'm thankfully off work this weekend anyways as I requested off to volunteer at an event on Saturday and Sunday, and because of the potential for bad weather this weekend, they emailed us all earlier today to let us know it was cancelled.

We never get snow, but as long as it’s on my off days if we do get it, I love it.

I've only seen snow once and it was very underwhelming
Snow is amazing though! We got about 11 inches here over the weekend. It's been super cold so it's not going to melt anytime soon lol. I wish we got a white Christmas here...

Like most people, I loved snow days as a kid. Once you jump into the real world and have a job, it's different though. I still have to find a way to get to work no matter what.

I have not had a day in the last two weeks where it has not snowed here. And we have this big storm coming again this weekend. I am tired of snow. I am tired of the cold ready for spring. And then that stupid groundhog, Phil, saw his shadow. Not looking forward to another six weeks of this. Lol

I don't minde, as long as it's not all the time and can stop by day to day life. I live on the coast so we do not get much when it does.
