I'm pretty much exactly where I was with my board. Image of site traffic shows this:

areachart_feb18.webp

Activity pretty much constant over the past 6 months. And this is in spite of ad campaigns, Twitter campaigns, a facebook page, even campaigning on the official Warriors message board to a limited degree. And on the site itself, events, one on one newbie help, and frequent updates and good management of any fighting or complaints. I'm just not sure what I'm doing wrong. I even got a domain name: http://warriorcatstherpg.com

If this were your situation what would you be thinking was going wrong? Or at least, if not going wrong, not going in any sort of progressive direction? I really hate being stumped.

Thanks anybody for any feedback you give.

There's another one started up only a year ago and they got over 2 million RP posts already.

As long as it's not decreasing, it's fine. To improve it though, I'd suggest to continually advertise and promote as much as you can. Go register on other RP forums and put your link in your signature. Then start posting around.

I'm looking for a good place to "sig" where I'm not already having my members do so. I forgot to mention--we have a programme by where our members help advertise by sigs on other forums they're on. We got like 30 forums we're posting to with sig ads. Some really big, bigger than ours.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Definately work on advertising extensively on the official forums. My website's traffic drastically increased after a few months of active posting on the official site.

That is amazing for half a year 😉 Good job but make sure you keep on working on advertising 🙂

This.

The official site doesn't allow any outside links to be posted. {More to prevent exposing minors to inappropriate material than to stop advertisers with fan sites.} So, instead I created graphics, and stuck my name and site address at the bottom in small letters, like a signature: "graphics by groovystar * warriorcatstherpg.com" But it's not clickable. Of course, nobody else can advertise there with clickable links either so that does level the playing field.

I can make graphics and few others on there can, so I might offer to make them for other people, and in each one, you'd see the above signature go on the bottom, in small but noticeable letters. Would this be effective?
