Some of you may know that I am in the middle of creating my very own creative network forum. It is going to be called 'Creative Junction' focusing on all aspects of creation, photography, graphics, drawings et cetera. So far I have the following organized:
Members personal portfolios, can create there own portfolio on the site with their own work(not guaranteed).
Monthly/Weekly competitions(Guaranteed).
Graphics requests, by either users or our very own graphic team which is guaranteed.
Members creations for the forums, as members will be able to create affiliate, advertising banners etc for the forum to represent the boards look(guaranteed).
Personal themes & theme selection, hoping to add up to 6 - 8 themes(guaranteed).
Personal arcticle/tutorials which is updated oftenly.

Ofcourse the forum will cover oter aspects like discussion for generalities et cetera.

I need more idea's which you would or will make you join the forum but must be able to have on MyBB boards, thanks.

Makesure to use a top level TLD instead of a co.cc 😛

Nah. I sorta disagree.

Get a TLD when you get more than 200 posts.

I disagree.

Lawson, the chances of you getting 200 posts significantly faster with a TLD over a co.cc is higher. Think of your site like a business. Do you want its opening to appear with a professional and appealing name? Or do you want it to appear off as cheap? You have a good name and a good idea, so at least make the best of it.

If you open your site with a co.cc, I probably won't check it out. I can't remember the last time I genuinely had interest in or registered on a site with a free domain. If it's on a TLD, well then that changes everything in my perspective.

TLDs make that much of a difference.

I followed this mindset, and now I'm always able to buy proper quality TLDs for all my sites and sites I desire to start up.

How about I say this, a top level domain is already there, never got a chance for anyone to register a domain for me. But the domain is definetely going to be TLD, that's something I ca guarantee. Plus I want ideas to revolve about the forums.
@ EC, there will be about 300 - 400 pre-posts so basically getting a TLD will be pointless after reaching 200 posts.
