Soccer ball on youtube vidoes?

On some videos there is a soccer ball that is located next to the cc button/option. What I'd like to know is:

1. What is this feature?
2. What's is used for?

It's just a fun thing for the World Cup. It makes the noise of the horn used at the games so you can watch your videos with it. No point to it really.
