Do you say soccer or football? For me, its soccer.

PS: They are both the same.

Soccer, so it can be differentiated with other "football" sports in Australia.

Now i know! 😀

I call it football when it's to guys who call it football like Europeans. However, I watch a lot of American/Canadian football, so I have to differentiate when I talk locally.

I call it both. I am an American, so I have always called the sport soccer, but now, I have started calling the sport football.

It's called Football. Footballers is the name for the players. Not Soccerers

Football

does american football players even use their feet?

I'm sure they use their feet to walk, run, jog and jump. 🙂 I can't think of a sport that doesn't use feet.

Soccer in Spanish is 'fútbol' (a bit similar to 'football'.) I don't think American football is played in many other countries, so they probably call their sport (in which us Americans consider to be soccer) 'football'. Us Americans have two popular sports played with the feet: soccer and football. I'm not completely sure; football was probably originated in America.
