Have you ever gotten your account on social media banned or disabled after joining and making one post? It happened to me recently and I appealed it but haven't heard back.

Yeah. There is an algorithm in Twitter.
I've had my account for many years. But one day, a username was dropped or deleted because it was a spam account.
It was intended as a FPS account going to a website, but the account was "algorithmicly" spamming. What this means is you post garbage posts. Its hard to explain it unless you see an example. If you are able to find it on X, go find @CoDWarfare.
You can post on Twitter/X, but you can't just post past a threshold (which i don't exactly know what that is, like is it 20 posts a day? 30?)
You can post memes, but you can't be offensive.
You can shitpost, but you can't be offensive, and by offensive I mean going too far. I'll explain this part later.
Anyway, the page was also posting legitimate leaks. Like... LEGIT. The person took that risk to post real leaks for Call of Duty. Activision hates leaks. Lawyers/account takedown are real. So it was twofold for these guys, not only do they post leaks, they were spamming.
As promised, I'll talk about an example of a person getting banned for going too far.
I know a YouTuber that shitposts with jokes. He got banned from the platform permanently. He used "rape" in a sentence, as a joke. He was wrong to use it in an algorithm that catches words (a blacklist). To be fair, he exposed the platform, nobody knows it yet, because he's a 200k subs YTer, but the hypocrisy is hanging out there under Elon's watch.
Another person was able to use THE SAME EXACT JOKE. And... not... banned. A furry. A protected class. Before the ban, he got into a spat with a well-known pedophile - the furry that trapped him and reported HIM.

Update on this: I'm glad I emailed the place because they wrote back saying that a bot had gone rogue (not their words) and was marking sites as spam. They reinstated my account and I posted yesterday! Yay!

I was afraid that since I was "advertising" our sale for posting packages that I had gone against their terms and conditions. But that's what other businesses do, so why can't I? I'm glad it wasn't me.
Don't worry about how it sounds. Its not "advertising" on Twitter. What "advertising" means on Twitter is IF YOU are advertising a business at cross against Twitter, its blacklisted. Its like TikTok advertising on YouTube. (That actually happened/happens.) I would imagine Rumble for another example isn't allowed on YouTube, as a "business." Twitter is allowed on YouTube.
They're not. Its just SOME people getting banned for petty shit. Its because the old guard are still there. For example the new hire, Linda Yaccarino is a WEF cuck. Most of the community is STILL on the left, so all these problems are because of THEM.
Elon is facing boycott from... "advertisers" like IBM, Disney, etc. Elon is saying "F you" to ADL, and similar activist organizations...
Basically, he's making a social media Fox News.
No. He's not. He is trying to build a network, while chained to the old guard. He's even suing the people responsible for the targeted attacks. He's on New York Times stage to say "F you" to THEM. C'mon.
So far I have not had a social media account banned not too long after joining the platform but I have known it to happen to some and they never know the full reason why it happened.
