Well at first, there are no advantages. You have to build, engage and draw followers. Eventually, it will pay great dividends. Sometimes though, you'll have great luck on one SM platform over another. You might do better or Pinterest for example, than Facebook. Or better on Facebook as opposed to Twitter, or vice versa.
