Social media is already saturated as it is, with millions of people already hooked up with Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc. The reason why people started to use these websites is because they were unique and creative, you had to ask for name inspiration which is a sign of the lack of creative qualities. People are not just going to go out of their way to search for potentially the next big social media site, nor are they likely to join upon discovering your website, it's harsh but it is also the truth. As I said, people joined these websites because they were unique, your website just looks like one huge cluster of all three of those sites. If anyone creates a social media website by themselves or without the financial backing of a company, the chances are they won't even make it, because they won't have any money for advertising and getting their name out of there.
Additionally, the three big social media sites that I mentioned look good and professional. Your site has many things wrong with it that will probably deter people immediately should they ever find it. For one, your title isn't even capitalized "social networking" looks quite trashy in my opinion, as if someone couldn't care to use capitals. You also lack a favicon, making it look plain and boring straight from the off, prior to even looking at the website. The first thing I notice? Your banner looks like a really low quality image, as if you've just took it from Google, re-sized it improperly and thrown text over the top. Your navigation bar has a missing link, no 'about' link and, "Welcome to our new site! Feel free to participate in our community!" sounds as if you're not making an effort, despite being polite, "Feel free" is effortless, no persuasion, nothing explaining the purpose of your site. Then the rest of the site, it's just Twitter/Facebook-esque. Nothing more to say about it.
Sounds harsh, hate me if you will, but I'm being honest.
